In a world where people are increasingly using AI to lazily “write” emails I believe in using technology as a tool to even the playing field for employees and entrepreneurs alike. What you do for work does not define who you are as a person but finding work that allows you to live how you want is the goal. I am a thinker, a builder, and a strategist, committed to creating systems, tools, and pieces that stand the test of time.
I have a decade and a half of experience in retail banking where I worked my way up from being a banker on the floor, to branch manager, and ultimately Director of Cannabis Banking relationships where I collaborated with executives and cross-functional departments to build a Cannabis Banking program from the ground up, not only new to the company but a new industry in the state of New York. As a branch manager, I made it my responsibility to ensure the success of my staff. Empowering them to reach their potential whether that was making sales and operational goals, getting promotions, or pursuing better opportunities within the company or even other industries unrelated to banking.
Since leaving the retail banking world, I took Harvard’s CS50’s Introduction to Programming with Python, and have been trading $SPY ODTE options using an indicator I coded in Pine Script, and a Strike scanner that tells me the best 0DTE strikes according to the Greeks, that I made with Python, using the Charles Schwab API.
One income is too close to none. Over the years, I have had multiple ecommerce endeavors, including an Amazon store and eBay sales generating over $50k in gross sales. I have two rental units, and have even done some acting work as an extra on shows like Blue Bloods, Nurse Jackie, Power and more.
I believe we should take care of the communities we live and work in. I started volunteering when I was at St. John’s University, at their mobile soup kitchen, cleaning up Eisenhower Park, and the Queens Theater. When I worked in Southampton, I was a part of the Chamber of Commerce, Business Alliance, and Rotary Club.
The thread that connects retail banking, coding, and working with raw materials is a mandatory respect for how things are built. I’m a big believer in getting my hands dirty, learning the mechanics of a system from the ground up, and creating high-utility tools that stand the test of time. Whether working with data on a screen or a physical asset in the real world, I focus on structural integrity and flawless execution.
